    Claude

    Connect Populous to Claude through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Run customer research simulations directly from your Claude workspace.

    Step 1

    Review the Claude MCP setup instructions: MCP remote server docs

    Step 2

    In Claude, go to Customize.

    Step 3

    Press the plus symbol to add a new connector.

    Step 4

    Copy the Populous MCP server URL and add it to Claude:

    https://run.populous.app/mcp

    Step 5

    Authorize Populous.

    Step 6

    Open a new chat, say "use Populous", and follow the instructions.

    Codex

    Connect Populous to Codex through the same MCP server URL. Use Populous from Codex when you want customer research context alongside your code.

    Step 1

    Open Codex settings, go to MCP servers, and click + to add a server.

    Step 2

    Name the MCP server Populous.

    Step 3

    Select Streamable HTTP and paste the Populous MCP server URL:

    https://run.populous.app/mcp

    Step 4

    Restart Codex.

    Step 5

    Open a new chat, say "use Populous", and follow the instructions.
